The Umatilla School District provides a wide range of education programs, employing approximately 85 licensed and 55 classified staff members to serve a student population of 1,100.  A total budget of approximately $6 million supports the district activities at a high level of service and fiscal integrity.  In 1999, construction was completed on the new  high school at a cost of $10.3 million.  A board of seven directors elected from throughout the district provides sound policy direction from a broad-based representative structure.
